I'd like
to say a big THANK YOU to all who attended this long overdue and
worthwhile event called the En Sound Music Awards...God is Awesome
beyond comprehension!!! Every comment made is heartfelt and I thank you
for the way in which you supported the cause. Let's keep empowering
ourselves as indie gospel artists and stop relying on others to
determine our destiny. Our future lies in our own hands, so top taking
hand-outs and reach out and claim yours. This is just the beginning of
what God has in store!
God showed
up and showed out through every artists who performed and also through
the enthusiastic crowd that was present. I could never have imagined
that it was going to turn out the way it did, because of the rejection I
faced from folks, even some in the gospel music industry who thought
that this would fail because I refused to have a "major artist
headliner", but God is God and He always prevails in the end when you
stand for what you believe in and not be swayed by other people's
opinions. As my sister Michelle Stevenson rightly puts it...This is
indie power at it's best!!! - Delroy
